The Olive Festival
Held by the city annually in February or March, with the Association of Old Rochevilloises Families, this festival is set in the avenue Maurice Jeanpierre, surrounded by magnificent olive trees.
Many stalls with local produce, related in some way to the "olive" are offered: oil from still operating mills, tapenade, olives from Nice, green olives, black olives with varied seasoning, olive bread... but also delicacies such as meats, farmhouse cheeses, honey, nougat, fougasse and other Provencal biscuits, and crafted items such as pottery and enamel.
This event attracts visitors from all corners of the department, and beyond from neighbouring departments.
Children and adults can also enjoy the many activities - antique wooden games, face-painting stands, rides...).
Songs and dances offered by local folk groups finally liven up this beautiful Provencal festival.
